Every year, athletes and spectators alike migrate to our mountain top resort for the Birds of Prey Men's World Cup. But that is only a slice of what Beaver Creek has to offer. From the gentle, manicured slopes of Bachelor Gulch, to the open intermediate trails of Larkspur and Rose Bowl, to the steep bumps of Grouse Mountain, skiers and riders of all abilities will feel at home on our mountain.
Winter Skiing and Recreation
Avon is located between two of the largest ski areas in Colorado. Nestled between Vail and Beaver Creek guests will enjoy skiing, snowboarding, ice skating and sleigh riding.
Avon Recreation Center
Avon Recreation Center is a 40,000 square foot facility where visitors can take a yoga class, join a volleyball or kickball game, attend a camp, swim laps or just relax on the lazy river. There are a multitude of activities for everyone from fitness to leisure.
Harry A. Nottingham Park
Harry A. Nottingham Park is 48 acres of open space, 2 athletic fields, children's playground, picnic tables, barbecue grills, recreational paths, 4 tennis courts, 3 basketball courts, a softball field and 2 sand volleyball courts. Also, Nottingham Lake offers fishing, paddle-boating and ice skating.
4 Eagle Ranch
4 Eagle Ranch is over 1,000 acres and offers unique activities all year long. Everything from horseback riding, zip rides, cattle round ups to scenic sleigh rides and camp fires.
Town Center West
Town Center West is the vibrant downtown area of Avon. It has a mix of shops, restaurants and a large transit center to tie the town together with the ski lifts and parks.
